Mr Michael Walkley
Michael spent 17 years as a radio host on multiple stations around Australia. At the start of 2018, Michael began working on creating a school-based radio station, Radio Pac Pines. Michael said “2019 is set to be a big year, with the introduction of the school’s first podcast called ‘Say What?!”. Michael’s goal is to make Radio Pac Pines a station for not only our school but for the entire Pacific pines community.
Nicholas is a year 12 student. He is the head music director and is in charge of sourcing the new music straight from the record companies before they hit other stations. Nicholas has a passion for 70’s, 80’s and 90’s music. He enjoys being apart of Radio Pac Pines and would love to gain a career in the radio industry. Nicholas is so passionate about Radio Pac Pines that he programed the current music categories over the Christmas school holidays and is continuously sourcing new songs for the station to play.
Jasmin is a year 9 student who helps program the music on Radio Pac Pines. She is part of the school choir and does solo performances at school events. She has a passion for learning languages. Jasmin likes ice skating and archery. She loves reading and discovering new music to play on the radio.
Elijah in a Year 8 and he loves drama! He enjoys being on the radio with his friends Ashton, Kelsey, and Logan. He has been on the radio since day one and he says that it is so much fun. His goal is for the entire school to listen to Radio Pac Pines.
Logan has has been part of Radio Pac Pines from day one. She has a passion for all things music related, and has been part of choir throughout all years of primary and high school. She also enjoys playing differentinstruments such as guitar, piano, and ukulele, and hopes to bring a smile to your face every time she is on air!
Kelsey is a year 9 student who has been with Radio Pac Pines since day one. Kelsey loves all things music and drama and is in excellence for both. She loves performing at school events and was in the cast of the school’s production ‘Rock of Ages’.
Montana is community prefect in Year 9. Her favorite subjects are Science and Drama and she loves to sing and dance. 2019 is her first year on Radio Pac Pines and she hopes to make everyone laugh and smile.
Annalyssia Giardina is a year 11 student who spent her yr 10 work experience at Southern Cross Austereo working with the 90.9 Sea FM and 92.5 Gold FM teams in all of the different departments including the Journalism team. This is where she found a passion for radio and hopes to bring this enthusiasm to the Radio Pac Pines.
2019 is Kiyah’s first year doing anything radio related, but she loves to learn and be involved in activities. Kiyah also loves the performing arts, and would love to pursue something related to that when she’s older, which is another reason why she applied herself to be involved. She is currently a Junior Vice Captain, and would love to hear your suggestions for how to improve the school.

Jasmine is a passionate young student in year 8. She works on the podcasting team at Radio Pac Pines. She works hard to complete all her tasks and enjoys completing hours of dancing a week.
Connar is a year 11 student who recently joined the Radio Pac Pines Podcasting team. He has a major passion for radio and podcasting which has interested him since primary school. He hopes to entertain listeners through highly fascinating topics affecting the local community, which is for all age groups.
Elijah in a Year 8 and he loves drama! He enjoys being on the radio with his friends Ashton, Kelsey, and Logan. Elijah has been on the radio since it first started back in 2018. His goal is for the entire school to listen to Radio Pac Pines and to enjoy the podcast.
